| At
Vista Health, we work as a team combining
independent, board-certified oncologists with
compassionate support personnel. Each patient's
needs are assessed individually and treatment
plans are developed to meet individual needs.
This approach results in a complete treatment
program. Day-by-day, we're combining skill
and technology to save lives. And we're raising
hopes…by bringing technology to life.

Our
cancer care teams are dedicated to providing
comprehensive care to the individual and the
family experiencing cancer. The cancer centers
offer emotional as well as medical support
to give patients and their families the courage
to attack their disease.
Our
teams also coordinate a Cancer Registry. This
registry tracks the progress of every patient
diagnosed and/or treated at our hospitals.
We share this analytical data on incidence,
treatment and survival with the American Cancer
Society and the American College of Surgeons
where it is utilized as a basis for research,
education and follow-up.
Beating
The Odds Against A Persistent Killer
Perhaps
one of the greatest weapons in the fight against
cancer is the fact that more people are undergoing
cancer screenings on a regular basis. These
screenings are designed to help people become
aware of cancer's early warning signs and
to help participants benefit from early detection.
That's
why Vista Health's Cancer Services Programs
are committed to offering cancer screenings
on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Often,
these screenings can mean the difference between
life and death. In many cases, cancer can
be cured if it is caught in the early stages.
