Department at Vista Medical Center East is staffed around
the clock--24 hours per day, 365 days per
year--with highly trained independent emergency
physicians and specially trained nurses
who understand your need for immediate
attention. The Emergency Department is
equipped to care for a wide variety of
adult and pediatric emergencies. Our Emergency
Department also contains some of the latest
and most up-to-date diagnostic equipment,
with immediate access to X-rays, CT scans,
laboratory testing, radiology and additional
on-call diagnostic consultants to provide
truly comprehensive emergency care.
The
independent doctors who treat you are qualified
board-certified emergency physicians. ER nurses
are specially trained in trauma and cardiac
care. Their experience with major medical
emergencies provides a sense of reassurance...when
you need it most.
Level
II Trauma Center
Vista Medical Center East's Emergency Department
is ranked as a state-designated Level II
Trauma Center. As such, it has the capabilities
to treat life-threatening illnesses and injuries
that result from trauma.
Emergency Medical Services Return to Vista Medical Center West
With the return of ambulances, the Emergency Department at Vista Medical Center West provides full service emergency medical care, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This facility is staffed by emergency trained physicians, nurses and staff, under the guidance of Vista’s Emergency Department Medical Director, Dr. Kenji Oyasu. The Emergency Department is backed by a wide range of on-site medical facilities. These include laboratory, radiology and psychiatric services to assist in treating a wide range of medical conditions. |
