Wound Care

Wound Care Services Mission
Many wounds do not show any signs of improvement in several weeks or do not respond to typical treatments. These wounds might be difficult to heal and can often be caused by injury, disease, or poor blood supply. Vista Wound Care Services provides specialized treatment for these types of wounds. Our wound care program aims to improve the quality of life for patients with chronic wounds by promoting optimal healing through comprehensive, necessary, and reasonable management of medical conditions.

Healing a Wound
We understand each individual and wound is different, and we tailor our treatment plan based on the patient’s individualized needs. We identify the main etiology of the wound and apply appropriate interventions to help resolve and prevent future wounds from presenting. Education is imperative to healing wounds and we teach to our patients and family members to prevent and avoid future complications.

Vista Wound Care Services offers a multidisciplinary approach providing comprehensive wound management that integrates up-to-date treatments. Wound care algorithms are utilized when indicated. The wound care program is not a source of primary medical care but a specialty program in the field.
